Daytona Edges Clearwater In Ten Innings

Nate Spears singled home Mark Reed in the bottom of the tenth inning to win in the Cubs 2-1 win over Clearwater.  The only other Cubs run came on a solo homerun by Tyler Colvin.
Tim Layden picked up the win.  He gave up a hit and struck out one in two shutout innings.

Justin Berg Hit Hard In Smokies Blowout Loss
