SWB Held to Four Hits In Loss to Rochester

The Yankees couldn’t get much going at the plate in a 6-2 loss to the Rochester Red Wings.  Austin Jackson belted a solo home run, drew a walk and scored twice while Juan Miranda singled, drew a walk and drove in one.

SWB Yankees Held to Four Hits In Loss to Syracuse

John Rodriguez had a big day at the plate as the SWB Yankees took care of the Toledo Mud Hens 7-3.  He went two for four with a home run and four RBIs.  Juan Miranda also had a nice day at the plate and he went three for four with two runs and two RBIs.

Josh Towers Throws Six Shutout Innings In SWB Win

Josh Towers improved to 2-4 on the season with a solid start in SWB’s 1-0 win over the Mud Hens.  He gave up just two hits and three walks with five strikeouts in six shutout innings.  Jonathan Albaladejo threw a shutout ninth and he picked up his first save of the season.

Sergio Mitre Pitches SWB to Win Over Gwinnett

Sergio Mitre improved to 1-o on the season with a really nice start in the Yankees 8-2 win over Gwinnett.  He gave up two runs on seven hits with five strikeouts in seven innings.
Cody Ransom belted a three run blast.  Kevin Russo went two for four with a walk and three runs.

Paul Bush Is Hit Hard In Loss to Knights
