Steven White Throws Seven Shutout Innings In SWB Win

SWB Edges Ottawa 5-4

Kevin Thompson was the hitting star in the Yankees 5-4 win over Ottawa.  He went two for three with a double, a homerun, two RBIs and three runs.
Jose Veras picked up the win and he improved to 2-0.  He gave up three hits and a walk with two strikeouts in two shutout innings of relief.

SWB Loses Tight Game to Buffalo

The Yankees fell to Buffalo 4-3 and while Kei Igawa wasn’t awful, he gave up the tying run in the seventh inning.  Then T.J. Beam gave up a run in the eighth that proved to be the game winner for Buffalo.

SWB Held to Lone Run In Loss to Rochester

The Yankees had a tough time at the plate and they lost to Rochester 4-1.  Eric Duncan was the only hitter with two hits and he scored the lone run.
Kei Igawa took the loss and he fell to 3-4.  He gave up two runs on eight hits and with six strikeouts in six innings.

Matt DeSalvo Has Rough Start In SWB Loss
