Staten Island Held to Five Hits in Loss to Hudson Valley

Staten Island had a tough time getting anything going at the plate as they lost to Hudson Valley 2-1.  Carmen Angelini went two for three with a double and an RBI.  Luke Murton doubled and he scored a run. A solid start by Trenton Lane went to waste….

Adam Warren Throws Five Shutout Innings In Staten Island Win

Adam Warren improved to 1-1 on the season with a solid start in the Yankees 7-2 win over Lowell.  He gave up two hits and a walk with two strikeouts in five shutout innings.  Philip Bartleski struck out five and he didn’t allow a hit in two shutout innings of relief.

Staten Island Loses to Lowell In Ninth Inning

Staten Island took a 5-4 lead into the ninth inning but walked away with a 6-5 loss.  Ronny Marte gave up the two ninth inning runs and he fell to 2-1.  Francisco Rondon struck out eight in four innings in his start.
Neil Medchill went two for two with a home run, two RBIs and two runs.  [...]
