Lakeland took care of Sarasota 6-2 and it was Michael Bertram who brought the big stick.  He went two for three with a double and three RBIs.  Scott Sizemore doubled, drove in two runs and scored.
Matt O’Brien improved to 1-0.  He gave up two runs on eight hits with two strikeouts in six innings.
