Kevin Melillo had a huge day at the plate in the River Cats 10-0 win over Salt Lake.  He went three for five with a double, a homerun, four RBIs and three runs.  Daric Barton drove in three runs and Charles Thomas went two for four with a double and two runs.

The River Cats needed ten innings but they topped Las Vegas 4-3.  Colby Lewis had a really nice start and he gave up three runs on three hits and a walk with twelve strikeouts in six innings.  Connor Robertson picked up the win with a shutout tenth inning.

River Cats Blasted in Loss to Portland

Colby Lewis picked up his first win of the season with 6 2/3 shutout innings.  He gave up just three hits and three walks and he struck out four.
Jason Stokes was the hitting star.  He went two for two with two walks and a solo homerun.

Shane Komine threw six shutout innings and he picked up the win in the River Cats win over Portland.  He gave up just a single hit and three walks with five strikeouts.
