Tampa Edges Clearwater 4-3

Bullpen Falls Flat In Tampa Loss

Ryan Zink was given some extended relief work this afternoon but he fell flat inthe Yankees 4-3 loss to St. Lucie.  He gave up three runs (one earned) on four hits and four walks with five strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings of relief.

Staten Island Doubled Up By Brooklyn

Staten Island dropped their first game of a three game series with an 8-4 loss to Brooklyn.  Ryan Zink took the loss although he had some help because three of the four pitchers used gave up runs.
Matt Morris homered and drove in two runs.  Justin Snyder went two for four with a walk.
