Alan Horne Strikes Out Nine In Loss to Erie

Alan Horne was solid in his start against Erie but Dallas Trahern was a bit better in the 3-2 loss.  Horne gave up three runs on six hits and a walk with a season high nine strikeouts and the loss drops him to 3-2 on the season.

Brett Smith Throws Seven Shutout Innings in Thunder Win

Brett Smith had a fantastic start today in the Thunder’s 7-4 win over Binghamton.  He gave up just four walks in seven no hit innings and he struck out seven.
Ramiro Pena singled twice and scored two runs.  Aarom Baldiris and Shawn Garrett each doubled, drove in two and scored a run.

Brett Smith had a very nice start in the Thunder’s 7-4 win.  He gave up four walks and no hits with seven strikouts in seven innings of work.
Cody Ehlers and Aarom Baldiris each drove in two runs in the game.  Ramiro Pena finished with two hits and two runs.
