Juan Mateo dropped to 0-1 on the season with a rought start in the Chief’s 14-4 loss.  He gave up four runs on six hits with one strikeouts in three innings.  Oscar Bernard was shelled in his relief appearance and he gave up eight runs in 2 2/3 innings.

Oscar Bernard gave up a two run homer in the top of the eleventh as the Chiefs lost to the Lugnuts 5-3.  Chris Shaver also had an okay start and he gave up two runs on seven hits and one walk with three strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings.
