Joba Chamberlain Strikes Out Eight In Trenton Loss

A fantastic start by Joba Chamberlain went to waste in the Thunder’s 7-4 loss to Reading.  He gave up a single run on three hits and a walk with eight strikeouts in six innings before the pen was shelled for six runs in the final three frames.

Jason Jones Throws Seven Shutout Innings In Trenton Win

Jason Jones improved to 5-4 on the season with a nice start in the Thunder 3-0 win.  He gave up two hits and a walk with two strikeout in seven shutout innings. 
Noah Hall was the hitting star.  He went two for four and he scored one of the runs.

Thunder Held to Six Hits in Loss to Akron

Thunder hitters didn’t show up in a 5-1 loss to Akron. The lone run of the game was driven in by Noah Hall in the second inning.
Allan Horne dropped to 5-3 on the season.  He gave up four runs (two earned) on five hits and three walks with two strikeouts in five innings.

Trenton blew out the Fisher Cats 11-3 and Noah Hall played a big part in the win.  He went three for four with two doubles, three RBIs and a run.  P.J. Pilittere went three for five with a double, a triple, an RBI and three runs while Gabe Lopez was a perfect four for four.

Four Late Runs Cost Thunder In Loss to Fisher Cats

Roger Clemens Is Hit Hard In Trenton Loss

Okay, it wasn’t that bad but you’d expect more from a future Hall of Famer.  Clemens gave up three runs on six hits and four walks with five strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings.
Noah Hall hit a solo homerun in the 4-3 loss.  Jamal Strong was four for four and he drove in a run.

Alan Horne Pitches Thunder to Win Over Portland

Trenton lost 4-1 to Harrisburg in a game where the offense never got on track.  Noah Hall had two hits and he drove in the only run while Matt Carson had two hits and he scored the only run of the game.
