Zephyrs Blown Out By Oklahoma

Jason Vargas was hit hard and he took the loss in a 10-1 beatdown.  He gave up six runs (five earned) on seven hits and two walks with one strikeout four innings.
Mike DeFelice drove in the only run for the Zephyrs.  Fernando Tatis tripled and he scored the only run.

Zephyrs Held To Three Hits in Loss To Oklahoma

Jason Vargas had a tough time yesterday as New Orleans lost to Albuquerque 7-4.  He gave up seven runs on seven hits ad two walks with six strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.
Ricky Ledee was the hitting star.  He doubled, drove in two and scored a run.

Phillip Humber Solid in Zephyrs Loss

Adam Bostick had an impressive start and he improved his record to 2-1.  He gave up just two hits and two walks with four strikeouts in six shutout innings.
Lastings Milledge was the hitting star in the 3-2 win.  He went two for four with a double, two runs and an RBI.

Chan Ho Park Hammered in Zephyrs Loss

New Orleans was blown out today and Chan Ho Park was hammered in the loss.  He gave up eight runs on ten hits in just four innings.
The lone run in the 14-1 loss came in the ninth inning.  Andy Tracy hit a solo homerun.

Jose Santiago was roughed up by Memphis in the Zephyrs 7-3 loss.  He gave up five runs (four earned) on five hits and a walk with three strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings.
The Zephyrs managed just five hits.  Carlos Gomez’s tripled and drove in a run while Chip Ambres hit a solo homerun.
