Mike LaLuna improved to 2-3 on the season with a nice start in the Tigers 8-1 win over Tri-City.  The win completed a doubleheader sweep in which LaLuna gave up just two hits and four walks with four strikeouts in five shutout innings.

The Oneonta Tigers lost 3-2 to Mahoning Valley despite a solid start by Adam Wilk.  He gave up one run on four hits and one walk with a strikeout in five innings.  Mike LaLuna gave up two runs in the eighth and he fell to 1-2 on the season.

Oneonta scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh and that gave the Tigers their first lead of the game.  Fortunately it stuck and the Tigers walked away with a 5-4 win.  Jamie Johnson went one for three with a walk and two runs.  Michael Rockett tripled and he drove in two runs.
