Vasil Spanos had a nice day at the plate in the Rockhounds 8-3 win over Corpus Christi.  He went three for four with a double, three RBIs and two runs.  Richie Robnett also had a nice game and he went two for five with a double and two RBIs.

Michael Madsen Strikes Out Ten in Rockhounds Win

Michael Madsen was awesome on the mound in the Rockhounds 1-0 win over Frisco.  He gave up just two hits and three walks and he struck out a season high ten batters in six shutout innings.  The win pushes his record to 2-0 on the season.
