Phil Coke Has Rough Start In Thunder Win

Jeffrey Marquez was knocked around and he fell to 11-7 in the Thunder’s 14-2 loss to the Mets.  He gave up eight runs (seven earned) on seven hits and four walks with three strikeouts in just 2 2/3 innings.  Michael Gardner was bombed for six runs on ten hits in just 1 1/3 innings.

Akron Edges Trenton 4-3

Trenton lost to Akron 4-3 but Matt Carson did just about all he could to keep the Thunder in the game.  He went three for five with a solo homerun and two runs.
Michael Gardner took the loss. He gave up two runs in three innings and he fell to 2-2 on the season.
