Lugnuts Blown Out By Cedar Rapids

Lugnut pitchers gave up nine runs on thirteen hits today in a blow out loss to Cedar Rapids.  Kyle Ginley took the loss and he dropped to 0-2.  He gave up five runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk with four strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings.

Lugnuts Shut Out By Beloit

Chase Lirette had a very nice start but it was wasted in the Lugnuts 1-0 loss to Beloit. He gave up just one unearned run on four hits and two walks with three strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings. 
All the Lugnuts managed were five hits. Travis Snider had the only extra base hit with a double.

A.J. Wideman threw a nice game in the Lugnuts 6-2 win over Great Lakes.  He gave up just two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks with eight strikeouts.
