Kevin Hart Pitches Smokies to Win Over Huntsville

Errors Cost Smokies in Loss to Mississippi

The Smokies made three errors in their 4-3 loss to Mississippi and it resulted in two unearned runs.  While Kevin Hart had a tough start, he held Mississippi in check.  Adalberto Mendez took the loss when he gave up the losing run in the fifth inning.

Smokies Blown Out By Lookouts

Kevin Hart really took it on the chin yesterday in an 11-2 loss to the Lookouts.  He gave up all eleven runs on nine hits with five strikeouts in four innings.  Three of those nine hits went over the fence.
Jacob Fox was the hitting star.  He doubled twice and scored a run.
