Lakeland Finishes Season With Another Loss

Lakeland lost their season finale to the first place Clearwater Thrashers in an 11-2 blowout.  Kevin Adroin finished up a tough season that saw him demoted from Erie to Lakeland, where he finished 0-3.  He gave up eight runs (seven earned) on nine hits and a walk in 1 2/3 innings.

Kevin Adroin Is Hit Hard In Lakeland Loss

Lakeland lost again and it was Kevin Adroin who took the loss.  He fell to 0-2 and he gave up four runs on six hits and four walks with one strikeout in three innings.
Deik Scram was the hittin star in the 8-2 loss.  He went two for four with a double and a walk.

Kevin Adroin dropped his first decision since getting demoted to Lakeland in a tough start.  He gave up five runs on five hits and three walks with two strikouts in just two innings in the 12-2 loss.  Gabriel Benitez was hammered for seven runs in three innings.

Erie lost to the Fisher Cats 11-5 and both Eddie Bonine and Kevin Adroin had a tough time on the mound.  Bonine took the loss and he gave up five runs in his five inning start.  Adroin was hit for six runs in only 1 2/3 innings.

Eric Scores Four Late Runs to Beat Portland

This was a wild one.  Erie scored the first five runs and then Portland scored the next eight.  Then Erie got two in the eighth and two in the ninth to win it.  Jackson Melian drove in the tying run and then Clete Thomas drove home the winning run by drawing a bases loaded walk.
