Oneonta Finishes Regular Season With A Loss

Oneonta fell to Aberdeen 7-2 as the New York/Penn League came to a close.  Emmanuel Miguelez gave up just one run but it was the first one and he took the loss.  Sean Finefrock gave up five runs in just 2/3 of an inning but only one of those runs was earned.

Oneonta Doubles Up Tri-City 6-3

Oneonta took care of Tri-City with a 6-3 win as they made a push for a post season berth.  Ron Bourquin led the way at the plate with a double, a solo homerun and two runs.  Jorge Patino went two for four with a solo homer.

Oneonta Pen Gives Up Five Runs In Ninth Inning

Oneonta’s pen gave up five runs in the ninth inning as they blew a three run lead in the 5-3 loss.  Jose Fragoso was credited with the final two runs and he took the loss.  Oddly, he struck out the side in an inning where he was also knocked around for three hits and a walk.

Sean Finefrock Is Hit Hard In Oneonta Loss

Sean Finefrock fell to 3-5 on the season in a tough loss in Oneonta’s 9-6 loss to Hudson Valley.  He gave up seven runs (six earned) on six hits and three walks with two strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings.

Oneonta Blown Out By Tri-City to Start Second Half

Guillermo Moscoso had one of those mixed starts.  He did lost and he fell to 6-2 while giving up four runs on seven hits and a walk but he struck out an impressive eight batters in five innings.  Collin Mahoney was shelled for six runs and he was only able to get one batter out.

Sean Finefrock Gives Up Four In The First in Oneonta Loss

Sean Finefrock fell to 2-3 on the season with a rough start in the Tigers 5-2 loss to Brooklyn.  He gave up four runs (all in the first inning) on six hits and a walk with five strikeouts in five innings of work.
