Lance Pendleton Throws Six Shutout Innings In Tampa’s Win

Lance Pendleton improved to 6-4 on the season with a really nice start in Tampa’s 5-3 win over Clearwater.  He gave up just five hits with six strikeouts in six shutout innings.  Jonathan Hovis threw a shutout ninth inning and he picked up his eighth save of the season.

RiverDogs Edge Rome In Eleven Innings

The RiverDogs played a couple of extra innings in their final game of the season as they beat Rome 6-5 in eleven innings.  Kevin Smith went two for five with a triple, three RBIs and a run.  Chase Odenreider tripled twice, drove in two runs and scored.

RiverDogs Blow Four Run Lead In Loss to Catfish

The RiverDogs jumped out to a 7-3 lead only to see the pen give up fve runs late to lost the game 8-7.  Jonathan Hovis took the loss and he gave up two runs in 1 2/3 innings.

RiverDogs Get Nice Relief Pitching in Win Over Sand Gnats

Starter Garrett Patterson threw four shutout innings before giving way to the pen, who performed admirably.  Nicholas Petersen picked up the win with shutout eighth and Jonathan Hovis picked up the save with a shutout ninth.  It was his fourth save of the season.
