Rockhounds Lose to Wichita in Eleven Innings

The Rockhounds dropped a tough eleven inning game to Wichita 3-2.  Jerry Blevins took the loss and he fell to 0-2 when he gave up a run in the top of the eleventh inning.
Richie Robnett was the hitting star in the win.  He went two for five with a double and two RBIs.

Josh Kroeger Had Big Game In Smokies 8-5 Win

Jerry Blevins gave up a run in the ninth that cost the Smokies the game in their 3-2 loss to Mississippi.  Justin Berg was decent in his start.  He only gave up two runs but he gave up eleven hits in 5 1/3 innings.
