Jeremy Mizell fell to 3-7 on the season in a tough start in the Sand Gnats 7-3 loss to the RiverDogs.  He gave up four runs (three earned) on seven hits and a walk with two strikeouts in four innings.

Talk about an ugly game.  Jeremy Mizell gave up five runs in four innings and while he took the loss, this blowout was a team effort.  The worst offender was Jonathan Castillo, who was tagged for eight runs in his one inning of work.

The Sand Gnats and Catfish combined for 27 hits but only five runs in a 3-2, fourteen inning pitchers duel.  Matt Durkin threw 6 2/3 solid innings in his start and Jeremy Mizell gave up the losing run and he dropped to 2-4 on the season.
