Jeffrey Marquez improved to 15-9 with a nice start as the Thunder took care of the Fisher Cats 5-4.  He gave up three runs on four hits and a walk with nine strikeouts in six innings.
Jamal Strong went one for four with two runs.  P.J. Pilittere doubled and drove in two runs.

Trenton Splits Doubleheader With Portland

Jeffrey Marquez Pitches Trenton to Win Over Reading

Jeffrey Marquez improved to 12-8 on the season with a nice start in Trenton’s 5-2 win over Reading.  He gave up two runs (one earned) on three hits with three strikeouts in six innings.
Mike Kinkade singled twice and drove in three runs.  Colin Curtis and Jamal Strong each singled, drew a walk and scored twice.

Jeffrey Marquez improved to 2-0 today with another solid start.   He gave up just four hits and one walk with three strikeouts in six shutout innings.
Matt Carson accounted for both Trenton runs.  He hit a two runs shot in the fifth inning and he had two of the Thunders’ three hits.
