Tom Shearn Is Shelled In Bats Loss

Tom Shearn was destroyed today.  He gave up eight runs in just 1 2/3 innings and the loss drops him to 2-4 on the season.  Hopefully the right hander can bounce back and get it together next time around.

Bats Drop Second Straight In One Run Loss to Bulls

Steven Kelly gave up a solo homerun in the bottom of the tenth inning as the Bats lost to the Bulls 5-4.  Tom Shearn had a mediocre start and he gave up three runs on three hits and five walks with five strikeouts in five innings.

Homer Bailey Loses First Start of the Season

Homer Bailey’s start wasn’t all that bad, but with just one run of support, it turned into his only loss so far this season. He gave up three runs (one earned) on four hits and a walk with two strikeouts in six innings.
