Rafael Gonzalez Throws Five Shutout Frames In Sarasota Loss

Rafael Gonzalez didn’t get the win and neither did the Reds, but he put on a nice show on the mound.  He gave up four hits and three walks with five strikeouts in five shutout innings.  Jesus Carnevale took the loss and he gave up three runs in just 1/3 of an inning.

Those pesky Loons dispatched the Dragons tonight by the scored of 5-2.  Mediocre is the name of the game.  Neither the offense or the pitching was poor, it just wasn’t that great.  Todd Frazier drew three walks and he scored a run while Jason Bour doubled and scored.

Brandon Waring Scores Three Runs In Billings Win

The Mustangs took care of Orem 9-3 and Brandon Waring was one of the hitting stars.  He went two for three with a solo homerun and three runs.  Jason Bour went two for four with a homerun and three RBIs.  Michael McKennon belted a three run homer to help out the cause.
