Jair Jurrjens had a very nice start in Erie’s 2-1 win over Bowie.  He improved to 3-3 and he gave up just one run on five hits with nine strikeouts in seven solid innings.
Michael Hollimon was the hitting star in the win.  He went two for four with a run and an RBI.
