Eduardo Perez Powers Loons to Win Over Cedar Rapids

Eduardo Perez’s three run homer was the big hit in the Loons 5-4 win over Cedar Rapids.  Matthew Berezay provided the rest of the scoring with a two run double.
Francisco Feliz picked up the win with 4 2/3 innings of shutout relief.  He gave up twp hits and a walk and he struck out six.

Loons Shut Out in Loss to Lansing

The Great Lakes Loons were shutdown yesterday.  Despite outhiting Lansing 5-2, the Loons couldn’t push a single base runner across the plate. 
Cody White had a pretty good start go to waste.  He did walk five in four innings but he gave up just one run on one hit and he struck out nine.

Steven Johnson Hit Hard in Loons Loss

Steven Johnson was knocked around by Lansing today in a 6-2 loss.  He gave up five runs (four earned) on six hits and two walks with three strikeouts in just two innings.
The Loons didn’t get much offense.  Francisco Lazarraga went went one for three with a walk and a run.
