George Kontos fell to 1-4 on the season with a rough start in Tampa’s 9-1 loss to Jupiter.  He gave up six runs on six hits and six walks with five strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings.  Three of the six hits that Kontos gave up went over the fence.

Tampa Doubled Up by Clearwater

George Kontos dropped to 0-2 with a mediocre start in the Yankees loss to Clearwater.  He gave up four runs (three earned) on six hits and two walks with six strikeouts.
Juan Miranda doubled and he drove in both runs for Tampa.  Tim Battle singled, walked twice and scored both runs.
