Ryan O’Malley dropped to 1-3 on the season with a tough start against the River Cats.  He gave up six runs on seven hits and a walk with five strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings.
Felix Pie hit his second homerun of the season in the 12-2 loss.  He finished the game two for four.

Iowa starter Randy Wells was pummelled for nine runs in his three innings and while he took the loss, the Cubs actually made a game out of this one.  Felix Pie drove in two and scored two runs while Micah Hoffpauir had three hits and three RBIs in the 12-8 loss.
