Jay Voss Is Hit Hard In SeaWolves Loss to Trenton

It was another ugly beatdown and while Jon Kibler didn’t have his best start, Jay Voss was simply pummelled for seven runs in 1 2/3 innings.  He took the loss and fell to 0-1 while Kibler walked away with a no decision.

Lauren Gagnier improved to 2-0 with a really nice start in the SeaWolves 7-2 win over Bowie.  He gave up just two runs on four hits and a walk with seven strikeouts in 7 1/3 innings.  Brendan Wise also had a nice outing and he struck out one in 1 1/3 innings of shutout relief.

It was another tough day at the plate at the SeaWolves hitters were held in check in a 4-1 loss to the Thunder.  Jeff Kunkel tripled and scored the lone run while Shawn Roof singled Kunkel home.
