Sand Gnats Shutout in Loss to Augusta

The Sand Gnats couldn’t push a single runner across the plate as they lost to Augusta 6-0.  Greg Veloz and David Wabick each had two singles in the loss.
Timothy Stronach dropped to 0-2 on the season.  He gave up five runs (three earned) on six hits and a walk in 3 2/3 innings.

Tobi Stoner Hit Hard in Sand Gnats Loss

Augusta hitters knocked around Tobi Stoner in the Sand Gnats 5-2 loss.  He gave up four runs on nine hits and two walks with three strikeouts in just 3 2/3 innings.

Jorge Reyes Throws Five Shutout Innings in Sand Gnats Win

Jorge Reyes threw five shutout innings and he gave up just four hits with four walks and five strikeouts in the Sand Gnats win over Asheville.  David Wabeck drove in three runs in the 5-1 win while Francisco Pena went four for four with a double and a run.
