SWB Yankees Held to Four Hits In Loss to Syracuse

Jeffrey Marquez Pitches Trenton to Win Over Reading

Jeffrey Marquez improved to 12-8 on the season with a nice start in Trenton’s 5-2 win over Reading.  He gave up two runs (one earned) on three hits with three strikeouts in six innings.
Mike Kinkade singled twice and drove in three runs.  Colin Curtis and Jamal Strong each singled, drew a walk and scored twice.

Tampa Edges Fort Myers In Fourteen Innings

It wasn’t pretty, but Colin Curtis and Juan Miranda scored on a throwing error in the fourteenth inning and that gave Tampa the runs they needed to beat Fort Myers 6-4 in fourteen innings.  Curtis finished the game with two runs.  Jose Tabata two for five with two RBIs.

Tampa Blows Four Run Lead in Loss to Dunedin

A solid start by Elvys Quezada was wasted in Tampa’s 5-4 loss to Dunedin.  Quezada gave up a single unearned run on three hits and a walk with four strikeouts in six innings but two different relievers gave up two runs a piece to lose it last in the game.
