Ryan Pope Throws Six Shutout Innings In Staten Island Win

Ryan Pope had an excellent start in the Yankees 2-1 win over Lowell.  He gave up just three hits and he struck out eight in six shutout frames.
Justin Snyder drove in both Yankee runs with a single and a double.  Christopher Raber singled and scored a run.

Staten Island Edges Lowell In Eleven Innings

Ryan Wehrle drew a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth inning to tie Staten Island up with Lowell and then in the bottom of the eleventh, Justin Snyder singled home Donald Hollingsworth for the game winner.  Snyder finished the game three for five and he drove in two runs while Christopher Raber [...]
