Chris Denove Drives In Three In Bats Win

The Bats forced a winner take all game five with a 10-7 win over the Durham Bulls.  Chris Denove went two for four with two doubles, a run and three RBIs.  Chris Helsey went one for three with two walks, a run and two RBIs.

Carolina Edges Jaxx 4-3

The Mudcats held off a ninth inning rally by the Jaxx and they picked up the tight win 4-3.  Sean Watson was the pitching star and he improved to 1-2.  He gave up a hit and two walks with three strikeouts in three shutout innings of relief.
