The Yankees beat Rochester 9-4 and while Chris Basak had only one hit, he had an outstanding game.  The one hit was a solo homer and he also walked three times and scored four runs.  Shelly Duncan went one for two with with a homerun and two runs scored.

Chase Wright Hit Hard By Mud Hens

Justin Pope Throws Five Shutout Innings In SWB Win

Justin Pope improved to 2-1 on the season with five shutout frames.  He gave up three hits and a walk and he struck out two.
Chris Basak was the hitting star in the 5-2 win.  He went two for three with two runs.  Omir Santos hit a solo homerun.

Steven Jackson Hit Hard in SWB Loss to Norfolk
