Ryan Webb Is Hit Hard In Rockhounds Loss

Ryan Webb dropped to 0-4 on the season with a tough start in the Rockhounds 9-4 loss to Corpus Christi.  He gave up seven runs on eight hits and one walk with four strikeouts.  Five of the eight hits he gave up were homeruns.

Andy Shipman Pitches Rockhounds to Win Over Wichita

The Rockhounds beat Wichita 6-1 and a big part of the win was some solid pitching by Andy Shipman.  He gave up one run on six hits and a walk with three strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings.
Jeffrey Baisley went two for three with two runs scored.  Brian Snyder doubled twice and he scored a run.

Michael Madsen Strikes Out Ten in Rockhounds Win

Michael Madsen was awesome on the mound in the Rockhounds 1-0 win over Frisco.  He gave up just two hits and three walks and he struck out a season high ten batters in six shutout innings.  The win pushes his record to 2-0 on the season.
