Binghamton Held to Two Hits In Loss to New Britain

Binghamton got pretty much no offense in their 7-0 loss.  Mike Nickeas had both Mets’ hits, one of which was a double.
Michael Devaney took the loss despite giving up just one run in the first inning.  Ricardo Morales gave up three runs in 2 2/3 innings.

Kevin Mulvey Pitches Binghamton to Win Over New Britain

Binghamton roughed up New Britain 12-4 and Caleb Stewart had a big day at the plate.  He went four for four with a homerun, three RBIs and three runs.  Jose Coronado only had one hit but he drove in four runs and scored twice.

Marcos Carvajal, Binghamton Pen Hit Hard In Loss to Fisher Cats

Marcos Carvajal was hit hard in the Mets 9-6 loss to the Fisher Cats and he dropped to 1-3 on the season.  He gave up three runs (one earned) on five hits and four walks with five strikeouts in four innings.  Two relievers were also hit hard and each gave up three runs a piece.

Binghamton Wins Fourth Straight Behind Solid Start by Marcos Carvajal

Marcos Carvajal threw six shutout innings in the Mets 5-2 wn over the Defenders.  Unfortunately, all of the offense came late so he didn’t pick up the win.  That went to Joseph Serfass, who pitched a shutout seventh.
Caleb Stewart had the big hit of the game.  His grand slam was the difference in the win.

Errors Cost Binghamton In Loss To 3-1

Kevin Mulvey had a tough start.  While he gave up seven hits, all three of his runs were unearned because of one tough inning in the fifth.  A throwing error by Corey Ragsdale would have made it three outs but a susbsequent double piled on the runs in the inning.
