Benjamin Fritz dropped to 6-2 on the season with a rough start in the Rockhounds 5-4 loss.  He gave up four runs (three earned) on five hits and three walks with two strikeouts in five innings.
Landon Powell was the hitting star.  He went two for four with a homerun, two RBIs and two runs.

Midland scored just one run in their 3-1 loss to San Antonio.  The lone run was scored by Eduardo Cornejo in the sixth inning.
