Doubledays Shut Out Mahoning Valley 5-0

Three Auburn pitchers combined to shutout Mahoning Valley in a 5-0 win.  Joe Wice picked up the win with three shutout innings.  He gave up three hits and a walk with three strikeouts.
Manuel Rodriguez belted a two run homer in the ninth inning.  Benjamin Zeskind went three for five and he scored a run.

Doubledays Shutout In Loss to Williamsport

This was kind of a trend with the Jays minor league affiliates but the Auburn Doubledays were shutout on just four hits.  Adam Calderone was the only hitter with two hits and the only hitter with an extra base hit with his two doubles.

Manuel Rodriguez Helps Hit Doubledays to Win Over Williamsport

Baron Frost’s Three Run Homer Wins It For Doubledays

Auburn beat Batavia 3-2 and it was Baron Frost who had the big hit of the game.  His three run homer provided the Doubledays with just enough runs to win it.
Ronald Lowe picked up the win. He struck out one in a shutout inning.

Auburn Held to Four Hits In Shutout Loss

Auburn didn’t have a pleasant season opener as they were shutout on four hits in a 7-0 loss to Batavia.  No Auburn hitter had more then on hit and only Paul Franko had an extra base hit with a double.
