Anthony Tomey Gives Up Two Run Homer In Erie Loss to Bowie

Anthony Tomey fell to 2-3 on the season after he gave up a two run homer in the bottom of the tenth inning in a 5-3 loss to Bowie.  Casey Fien was the most effective hitter with 2 1/3 shutout innings.

Andrew Kown was roughed up in his start in the SeaWolves 8-4 loss to Akron.  He didn’t take the loss, but he gave up four runs on six hits and four walks with four strikeouts in five innings.  Anthony Tomey fell to 2-2 when he gave up a run in the seventh inning.

Erie Edged By Harrisburg 4-3

Anthony Tomey gave up a run in the bottom of the eighth inning and he took the loss as Erie dropped their game with Harrisburg 4-3.  This was after a mediocre start by Josh Rainwater, who gave up three runs on five hits and four walks with a strikeout in five innings.

Erie Comeback Falls Short In Loss to Akron

Erie scored two runs in the ninth inning to take care of Harrisburg 5-4.  Michael Hernandez singled, drove in two and scored a run.  Nick Trzesniak went two for five with a double and an RBI.
Anthony Tomey improved to 3-0 on the season.  He gave up two hits with two strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings.

Michael Hollimon has a big day at the plate in the Seawolves 7-6 win over the Defenders.  He went three for five with a double, a triple, three RBIs and a run.  Cameron Maybin homered in his third straight game since joining Erie and he went two for four with two RBIs and two runs.
