Alberto Bastardo Pitches Inland Empire to Win Over Lake Elsinore

Alberto Bastardo improved to 2-2 on the season with a nice start in Inland Empire’s 4-2 win over Lake Elsinore.  He gave up one run on four hits and two walks with five strikeouts in five innings.

Javy Guerra Pitches Inland Empire to Win Over Modesto

Javy Guerra had a nice start and he improved to 2-2 on the season.  He gave up a run on four hits and four walks with six strikeouts in six innings of work.
Anthony Harper was the hitting star in the 4-2 win.  He went two for four with both a run and an RBI.

Inland Empire Blows Five Run Lead in Loss to Lancaster

Inland Empire’s pitchers were given a five run cushion but they blew that lead as the 66ers lost 7-5.  Matthew Gomez de Seguira took the brunt of the damage and he gave up four runs while Mario Alvarez gave up the final two runs and he took the loss.
