Garrett Patterson Hit Hard in RiverDogs 12-6 Loss to Asheville

The pitching went out the window in yesterday’s 12-6 loss to Asheville.  Garrett Patterson took the loss when he gave up eight runs in three innings of relief while Angel Reyes gave up four runs in four innings in his start.

The RiverDogs were held to just five hits in a 2-0 loss to Charleston.  Six different RiverDogs picked up a hit a piece in the loss.

Angel Reyes lasted just 3 1/3 innings but he struck out nine batters.  That’s nine of the ten outs he made.  He wasn’t unhittable though.  He did give up two runs on one hit and two walks in a no decision.  Luke Trubee picked up the win with 1 2/3 innings of shutout relief.
