SWB Edges Bulls In Pitchers Duel

SWB Drops Sixth Straight Game

It’s another loss as SWB was blown out by Ottawa 9-2.  Ross Ohlendorf took the loss and he gave up four runs on nine hits and two walks with four strikeouts in five innings.  The pen gave up five runs as well and that didn’t help matters.

Shelly Duncan Hits Fifth Homer in SWB Win

Shelly Duncan and Andy Phillips went yard today in SWB’s 5-2 win over Pawtucket.  Phillips’ was a two run shot and for Duncan, that was his fifth homerun already this season.
Steven Jackson picked up the win with five solid innings.  He gave up two runs on eight hits and a walk with four strikeouts.
