Joel Santo Throws Solid Game In Daytona Loss

Iowa Blown Out Second Day In a Row

It’s getting pretty ugly for Iowa as their pitchers were shelled for 19 more runs today.  John Webb took the loss and he fell to 1-3 on the season.  He gave up nine runs (four earned) on eight hits and five walks with five strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings.

Scott Taylor, Bullpen Is Shelled In Daytona Loss

Scott Taylor dropped to 3-6 on the season with a tough start in a beatdown by Dunedin.  Taylor gave up six runs and he didn’t even last through the second inning and when the dust settled, the Blue Jays had put twenty runs on the board in a 20-5 loss.

Daytona Doubles Up By Jupiter

Daytona lost 6-3 to Jupiter and and it was the pen that lost this one.  Jesse Estrada left the game after six shutout innings and Michael Phelps took the loss after he gave up three unearned runs in the ninth inning.
